Does shopify holds money like Etsy ?

Hi all,

I am new to using Shopify and I purchased the Plak theme which I like a lot.

I was on Etsy for almost year until I decided to make the switch recently. I’m curious, does Shopify hold your money for the first 45 days before it’s deposited like Etsy does? Or is it different?

Thank you so much Katrine. I already made some sales through paid ads, and did well during the BFCM. Looking now to hire some freelancers for my new blog. I posted the first one by myself and I like how it looks so far
