Hello, I have on my main page on the top a picture + text with H2 title and at the bottom the rich text with H1 title. Can you give me advice on how to change the code that the text on the top (TOP STAR ORIGINAL | Stylish kids clothing at affordable prices) would be H1 title and the title of rich text at the bottom (STYLISH AND AFFORDABLE FASHION FOR BOYS AND GIRLS!) would be H2 title, please?

Thank you so much, Marta.

Hi Marta,

Jasmine from Plak support here,

It is hard to answer your question without seeing your website, as modifying the H tags depends on which and how many sections you are using on the homepage.

So you can either post your site link here, or on your forum profile, you can add your website link (only admins and moderators can see it)or you can also just enumerate the sections you're using.

For example :

1- slideshow
2- text with image overlay
3- Rich text
....

Thanks in advance

jasmine

Hello @masir,

PJ here from Plaktheme Support

Please allow me to interrupt to answer this concern of yours.

  • From your Shopify admin click Online Store -> Themes -> Actions -> Edit Code -> Sections
  • Open the featured-row.liquid -> Go to Line: 32 then replace this code:
    <h2 class="h3 image-text-title {{ section.settings.text_layout }}">{{ section.settings.title | escape }}</h2>

    with this code:

    <h1 class="h2 image-text-title {{ section.settings.text_layout }}">{{ section.settings.title | escape }}</h1>

For better explanation, please see the screenshot (or you can just simply change the "h2" to "h1" in the featured-row.liquid.

And regarding the other section which you want to make it <h2>, kindly follow the steps below:

  • From your Shopify admin click Online Store -> Themes -> Actions -> Edit Code -> Sections
  • Open the rich-text.liquid (or Search: rich-text) -> Please change the h1 to h2 ( as seen in the screenshot )

Please see the screenshot:

Please carefully change it, as one mistake can mess everything up, so please just change the "1" to "2" in the rich-text.liquid

Hope this clarifies your concern, should you have any other concern, please do not hesitate to let me know

Best Regards,

PJ
