Does anyone have experience with multi-box shipping for one order?
We get some large orders that require us to split the products into multiple boxes because of the UPS max weight limit. This is ultimately making us lose money on the shipping costs. Any recommendations/advice on how to adjust Shopify to accommodate that correct number of boxes base off of total weight of the purchase so we don't keep having to eat the difference?

Since Shopify only allows you to set a default box, splitting the products into multiple boxes is not possible directly in Shopify.
One of the options you can try is to use an app like Multi Carrier Shipping Label (link below), that helps you handle the packing process based on weight. You can set a max-weight for a box and when the product weight crosses the max-weight, the app automatically chooses the next box and the rates will the calculated accordingly.
