Hi,
I am a beginner in ecommerce and have a little knowledge about programming and design, should i develop my site gradually or should i use service providers ?.

It's is always recommended to hire professionals, you can't literally do everything yourself

With Shopify and a good theme, you can design your site yourself in just few days or even few hours if you don't have lot of products and collections. If you have the budget, it is recommended to hire an expert to give your site a professional look and design.
