translation missing error

Hi, 

I am a Plak theme user and i have a problem on one of my website

. It appears some error messages about translation error problem.

Please help me to solve this issue.

Hi @ilyeszoltan

Katrine here from Plak theme,

I checked your site and it seems that your local language ain't being translated from the backend

I checked your Romanian language file and it seems that Shopify can't read the file ro-Ro.json, so I duplicated it to ro.json and the site is working great now

If the same issue happens on your other site, I invite you to follow these steps to solve it :

 

  • From your Shopify store admin panel, click Online store > Actions > Edit code
  • Under locales, click Add a new locale

  • name the file "ro"

  • Open the file ro-Ro.json and copy all the content to the new ro.json
  • Click Save

The solution you had for the translation missing error was great, but now I have seen that it does not solve the checkout translation problem. In the back end of the theme editor, the translation is ok but on the website

view, it is not. Can you please take a look?

Since you're not a Shopify Plus merchant, we don't have the access to the checkout code file, for this reason, you need to contact Shopify support to fix this issue
