Good morning, I had a customer reach out last night saying she was trying to order, but the site was broken.  She said she is unable to add anything to the cart or buy anything.  She is on a SurfacePro.  I had another customer on a mac a few months ago with errors similar to this but Patrick was able to fix it.  I am attaching screenshots below, but I do not see any of these errors when I view the site so not sure what it could be?

Hi @adenmott

could you ask your customer which browser she is using ?

We have developed our themes to be compatible with major browsers, even the old ones where most of shopify themes don't work on old browsers.

Knowing which browser the customer is using can help us identify the issue and proceed to some modification to let the theme compatible with it.

Thanks in advance

Hi Aden,

I just installed the latest Microsoft Egde (Version 96.0.1054.62) and everything is working properly on desktop & mobile

Since your client is using a Surface Pro, I think the issue comes from her screen-size. From the screenshot provided it seems that the sticky elements on desktop (sticky featured product & thumbnails) are applied on her Surface Pro

In order to get rid of the sticky elements on her device, I invite you to follow these steps :

  • From your Shopify dashboard, click Online store  > Actions > Edit code
  • Open the file theme.css
  • Locate this code
@media only screen and (max-width: 667px) {
div.sticky-prod-img {
position: relative;
top: 0px;
}
}
  • Change it to
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
div.sticky-prod-img {
position: relative;
top: 0px;
}
}
  • Click Save

Let me know if this modification has resolved the issue
