Remove built by plak theme on my shopify store

Katrine here from Plak theme team,

Please follow these steps in order to remove the (built by Plak theme)

1. From your Shopify dashboard click Online store => Actions => edit code
2. In search files, look for footer.liquid
3. Click Ctrl + F and search for PLAK
4. Remove the 2 lines of codes as below

            <small> <a href="https:/plaktheme.com/" target="_blank">Built by PlakTheme </a> </small>

@plaktheme Is this different for Plak 2.4?  I've found similar code, but nothing with "mybluehost.me".  I found the similar lines in 2 different places, tried deleting them one at a time, but each time I did, the "built by plaktheme was still showing up on the preview.

Hi Brian,

There is no much difference in the version 2.4 of Plak theme

The link mybluhost.me was added automatically due to an update of our site, you can ignore it.

here is the look like of the code line to remove to get rid of the "built by plaktheme"

Could you please add your site link to your forum profile so I can check why you're still getting the theme developer credit on the footer?

@plaktheme Thanks, I have updated my profile with the URL.  I just removed the line of code, that was one that I had removed earlier.  This time I saved it instead of just previewing it, but when I opened my site the built by plaktheme was still there.

Thanks for sharing your site, I checked it out and the built by plaktheme is indeed still showing up, did you make sure that when you searched for the keyword (plak) on footer.liquid, you removed the both line of codes ? Also are you sure you're working on the live theme ?

If yes, and you still having troubles with it, let me know so I can send an access request request to your store in order to fix it.
