For a boost and to fix some errors you will get with Plak use Schema Plus for SEO. https://apps.shopify.com/schema-plus

Fixed my errors with Judge.Me installed. This app and the support fixed my issues with schema data.

@kevin33

I have spent years trying to figure out SEO. Reading everything that Google publishes is key is what I have found to listen too. From building my first site in Dreamweaver, to using adobe muse to help with breakpoints, and finally Shopify. Shopify has helped so much. The problem with Shopify is the theme Choices. Since making the switch to Shopify in 2018, I have used Out of the Sandbox Turbo theme, Impulse Theme, and more than an handful from the Shopify App store. Plak has by far up my conversion rate. So my advice is as follows:

  1. Stick with Plak Theme
  2. Speed is becoming more of a on page factor than anything.
  3. I use AMP pages to give me a ranking boost
  4. Make sure all images, and Shopify SEO is filled out
  5. A good review app like Judge.me
  6. Finally, as you stated blog post or get more links onto different websites AKA: Backlinks.

It is also good to have a sitemap too if you have many products. It will help Google and other Bots figure out your website. https://www.acumetalfab.com/apps/sitemap

Thanks for all the advices, in my case i had booster theme before switching to Plak, there is a huge difference, i couldn't even have the chance to have all the features in my blog if I have stuck to booster.

I didn't knew almost anything about SEO, until i read some articles, checked some youtube videos, ... it would have been a mess to optimize my booster theme, but plak has almost everything done, like the title attributes

About the site, I already did that, and submitted my site to be indexed to other search engines beyond google my organic search is increasing day after day and sales too. Iam happy for you too, you could increase your conversion rate.

Cheers !

Kevin

Some of the most common Shopify SEO recommendations are:

  1. Remove duplicate URLs from internal linking architecture

  2. Remove duplicate paginated URLs

  3. Create blog content for keywords with informational intent

  4. Add “Product,” “Article,” & “BreadcrumbList” structured data

  5. Determine how to handle product variant pages

  6. Compress images using crush.pics

  7. Remove unnecessary Shopify apps
