Hi all,

Is it better to have a product name be very simple for a customer to remember or descriptive for SEO?
For example, for jewelry. Would it be better to name a ring set “The Olivia Ring” or “Feminine Moonstone & White Zircon 2-Piece Stackable Ring Set”?

Thanks!

In the long run branding beats SEO but you do need to get traffic and sales at the beginning. I would suggest adding the brand name at the beginning of the title, followed by a short description. E.g. Olivia Ring - Feminine Moonstone …Keep in mind that you are limited at 60-65 chars per title

There’s no reason you can’t do both. Use the descriptive one for the title and start the description off with the name. Then tell a story in the description.

At the beginning you will undoubtedly needs SEO, speed and paid campaigns, this is the reason why we all purchased a theme from Plak theme.

Once you get famous, branding will take it over SEO (but better to have them both) think of Amazon, the #1 most famous eCommerce website + their SEO is also very strong

Good luck to you all

That is the point, I try to regularly post new articles each 3-4 days, I noticed an increase in organic traffic. Hard to maintain the rhythm since I am tight in budget to delegate the copywriting

You should think of hiring someone from fiverr for example. I used to hire a great article writer. I pay her like 30-40$ per each 1000words blog post
