[Solved] add share to instagram icon on product page

I am glad to hear that the Whatsapp share icon has worked great for you 🙂

Here is how to add Instagram share icon on product page next to the other social share icons :

• From your Shopify dashboard, click Online store > Actions > Edit code
• Open the file social-sharing.liquid
• At the very bottom and just before the closing tag </ul> add the following code

<i class="fa fa-instagram" aria-hidden="true"></i>
<span class="share-title" aria-hidden="true">Instagram</span>

</a>
</li>

• Replace the link https://www.instagram.com/plak_theme with your Instagram link
• Click Save
• The code will look like this

• In order to add some styles and background colors to the Instagram icon, add the below code at the very bottom of the file theme.css

.social-sharing i.fa-instagram {
background: #d6249f;
background: radial-gradient(circle at 30% 107%, #fdf497 0%, #fdf497 5%, #fd5949 45%,#d6249f 60%,#285AEB 90%);
border-radius : 30%;
}

• Click Save
