What is 3d model?
3D models is virtual representation of an object in 3 dimensions. It lets your customers view the product from different aspects on both mobile and desktop.
You can get 3D models of products or create your own by using 3D modeling software. 3D models can help merchants tell a story about their product and lets customers see a product in action or visualize it in their own space.

Once you have hired a Shopify Expert to help you create quality 3D models of your products and got your .glb file, click Add media and select the 3d model.
The 3d model will appears in the product thumbnails

- File size: 15MB maximum
- File type: GLB
Not supported in Plak theme
For design and speed purpose, the 3d model can’t be featured as the main product image in product and collection pages, to use the 3d model, you have to have at least one static featured image in the product.
