Hi,

I would like to move the product description and its tabs from the bottom to be on the right of product image, just under the trust badge.

Could you show me how to do it please?

Thanks
Alan

Hi Alan,

Katrine here from Plak theme support

In order to move the product description and tabs in the right of the product image, please follow these easy steps :

  1. From your Shopify dashboard, click Online Store => Actions => Edit code =>
  2. Open the file product-template.liquid
  3. Locate and Cut the following code
<div class="product-single__description rte">
{% include 'product-tabs' %}
</div>

    4. Paste the code above the 2 closing div (</div>)

    5. Click Save and you're done 🙂

@plaktheme

Hello,

I currently have Plak Theme V1.8

I tried to find the code above in file product-template.liquid and I could not find it.
Maybe V1.8 is different.

Can somebody show me how to do this in Plak V1.8?

Kind Regards,

Michael Gonzalez

@shaaba1

In Plak 1.8 we have added a second template for product page, this is why the above code has been moved to prod-template1.liquid

You can then follow the same steps, but this time on the file prod-template1.liquid

Kind regards,
Katrine

Thanks Katrine.

This also worked great.

I have one question, there is also a prod-template2.liquid.

Where is this type of product page located. Because I haven't seen it.

Is it the Light version of Plak Theme V1.8?

Kind Regards,

Michael Gonzalez

You're welcome @shaaba1

The template 2 is related to a second product template style, you change that from Theme settings > General

Kind regards,
Katrine

Update

This feature has been added to Plak 2.4, now you can change the product description/tabs directly from the theme editor > Theme settings > General > Product page

All the best
